The benefits of listening to your body are:

  2. Being able to catch something early- it can be avoiding a disaster or even a disease.
  3. More self awareness.

Now, one might ask how we listen to our body? You can start with meditation. When meditating, visualize every part of your body- the good, the bad, the ugly, the pretty- all of it. This will help you get to know yourself on a deeper more intimate way. By doing that consistently, you will start to notice sensations in your body when you feel happy or sad. You can start to explore more by asking your body what it wants or needs. Ask your body for answers in areas you are confused or do not know what to do. With these practices not only will your body begin to tell you things, but your intuition will also sharpen.
